Product Description
NovAseptic® high shear mixing heads are designed for applications requiring intensive mixing, dispersion and particle size reduction. Ideal for emulsions, dissolving insoluble substances, and wetting or crushing solids, the HS range delivers high energy input for fast and consistent processing.
Two configurations are available to suit different process requirements. The HS mixer is a vessel-mounted solution for volumes up to 1500 litres, delivering shear rates of up to 20,000 s⁻¹. The HSI mixer is an inline version, designed for continuous processing, powder induction, and transfer between vessels, while maintaining the same high shear performance of up to 20,000 s⁻¹.
- Temperature range: 5 to 135 °C (41 to 275 °F)
- Surface: Electropolished, Ra < 0.8µm
- Material: 1.4435 (316L stainless steel)
- Female bearing: Ceramic SiC (SSiC), exchangeable
- Each mixing head is individually labelled for full traceability
