Product Description
PharmEquip’s flare-through PTFE hose assemblies are designed to deliver a cost effective, smooth, full-bore connection for hygienic and high-purity applications. The PTFE liner is mechanically flared through the end fitting, eliminating internal steps and minimising product hold-up. Flared through hoses is used in applications where internal corrosion of the fittings or metallic contamination of the transfer chemical is a concern.
Using hot forming technology, the PTFE spiral liner is extruded and encapsulated over the flange or fitting, creating a continuous, hygienic seal for tri-clamp and flange connections. This construction supports reliable performance while maintaining product integrity in critical process environments.
Built on a corrugated PTFE hose with high-tensile stainless steel braid (304 standard, 316 available), these assemblies provide the ideal balance of flexibility, strength and durability.
