Product Description
The Fedegari FOWS washer steriliser combines washing, decontamination, sterilisation and drying in a single system. Designed for loads entering controlled-contamination environments, FOWS integrates the functionality of a jet washer with the performance of a steam steriliser, simplifying cleaning and sterilisation processes within pharmaceutical and industrial facilities.
By performing multiple processes in one unit, FOWS reduces equipment footprint, process time and operating costs compared with traditional installations using separate washers and sterilisers. The system is fully managed through the Thema4 process controller, enabling reliable process control and simplified validation.
Steam-assisted washing improves removal of greasy or sticky contaminants such as ointments, creams and gels, reducing the consumption of detergents, water and energy. Vacuum drying can also be applied at the end of the cycle to accelerate drying and shorten total processing time.
